MahaDBT Schemes| Finding Eligible Schemes Step-By-Step

The government of Maharashtra has launched the Mahadbt portal to facilitate the Maharashtra-based- Students in their education expenses through various scholarships. These schemes are designed to support students based on their caste and income.

MahaDBT covers a wide range of scholarships. There are 14 departments that offer scholarships based on household income, caste, etc.

Understanding MahaDBT Schemes:

Mahadbt schemes are a great initiative for students in Maharashtra that helps them to bear their educational expenses. However, different schemes on Mahadbt are available depending on the student’s caste and category.

Each of them has their benefits. Below, we have given you a step-by-step guide on selecting any scheme you want to apply.

After that, click on the option Find Eligible Schemes.

Now, you will be redirected to the page where you will get these 5 options

In the first section, you need to select your religion

Next, you have to click the caste section and select your caste. Make sure you select your caste, as you must also upload the caste certificate.

Next is the Department section; select your department provided below. If you forgot or are confused, contact your college, and they will provide you with your exact department.

Next is the Disability option. If you have any disability, select the option ‘Yes’; otherwise, ‘NO’.

In case of any disability, you must upload a disability certificate to the Mahadbt portal.
