RPF Constable Recruitment 2024|Overview
RPF is a security force that protects the passengers, passenger area, and railway property of Indian railways.
The last recruitment was conducted back in 2018 by RPF. However, this time, the first recruitment phase will be under RRB, including calls for applications, hiring, screening, and conducting CBT. RPF itself will complete the second phase.

RPF Constable Vacancy 2024
The RPF constable vacancies for 2024 have been released. The total number of vacancies for constables is 2000, for sub-inspector posts, it is 250, and 15% of the total vacancies will be reserved for Women. The category-wise RRB RPF Vacancy 2024 to be filled through RPF Recruitment 2024 will be notified with the release of the detailed notification.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10th or 12th class from any registered school/college.

RPF Recruitment Exam Pattern
The RPF recruitment exam pattern is mentioned below
The total number of questions the candidate will have to answer in the RPF computer-based exam is 120, and each question will have one mark. The exam will be of the objective type(MCQS), and the candidate will have 120 minutes to solve the exam.
1/3rd will be deducted in case of a wrong answer from the candidate, so make sure to get your preparations right to pass the exam

RPF Application Fees 2023
RPF has allocated an application fee to apply for RPF recruitment 2023. The fee submission is compulsory to complete your application process. For General and OBC, the fee is 500 ₹, and for the candidates who belong to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, EBC, and Females, it is 250 ₹
RPF Constable Salary 2024
The candidates preparing for the RPF constable exam must be curious about the salary package they will get after the selection. The railway protection force offers a decent salary package to candidates willing to serve in railways. The constable’s salary varies within the range of 27,902 to 31,720.
The RPF constable’s salary witnessed an increase in pay due to the implementation of the 7th pay commission. The basic wage for a railway constable is 21,700, and the gross salary varies from city to city.
The cities are categorized according to their population, like City X, City Y, and City Z. Hence, the towns with more population, like Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, etc, have higher allowances than City Y and Z.
