The swami Vivekananda scholarship is open to students enrolled in 11th and 12th classes as well as postgraduate, undergraduate, and Mphill. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must be a resident of West Bengal, and he should have secured at least 60% marks in the board Examination. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Eligibility 2023
To be considered for the svmcm scholarship, the applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Annual Income:
The annual household income of the student applying for this scholarship should be less than 250,000.
Domicile:
The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Higher Secondary:
The minimum qualifying marks to be considered for this scholarship is 75% in Madhyamik Pariksha.
Diploma Courses:
To qualify for a first-year diploma, the candidate must secure 75% marks in the (MP) examination. For Entry to the second year, the applicant must have passed the H.S. equivalent examination or ITI 2 years, and the marks should be a minimum of 60% in aggregate in the qualifying examination. The courses must be approved by AICTE|PCI|CoA and affiliated with WBSCT & VE & SD.
Under Graduates:
The candidate must have qualified higher secondary or equivalent with 75% marks.
Post Graduation:
The student must secure 53% in honors subjects at graduation level in general education and 55% marks in engineering subjects. If the student holds a valid Kanyashree recipients (K-2)ID, is pursuing a postgraduate course in Arts, Science, or Commerce, and secured 45% in aggregate is eligible.
M.Phill/NET Researchers:
The students enrolled in M Phill, Ph.D. programs from state-funded universities can also apply.
